  • Patent number: 10131460
Abstract: The invention relates to container sleeving system and method. Sleeves of heat shrinkable foil are arranged around the container. The sleeves are supplied by ejecting the sleeve from the sleeve supply. Containers are supplied form a container supply. The sleeve supply arranges the sleeve around the container by moving the sleeve upwardly around the container. A heat shrink oven is arranged for fixing the sleeve to the container. A conveyor transports containers.

  • Patent number: 9517853
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for heat shrinking a film wrapping an object and a method for operating such an apparatus. The apparatus includes a heat treatment chamber and a transport device for supporting and moving the object through the heat treatment chamber. Steam is supplied to a fluid outlet device including one or more nozzles. The apparatus further includes a window arranged to allow an operator to look inside the heat treatment chamber. To improve continuous viewing capabilities the apparatus further includes a blurring reduction system. A fluid flow is generated along an inner side of the window.

  • Patent number: 8863806
Abstract: The invention relates to a labelling plant and method for containers. Heat shrinkable sleeves are supplied and containers are supplied. A device for arranging the sleeve around the container will arrange the sleeve in a position with respect to the container. In a heat shrink oven the sleeves are fixed to the container forming the label. A conveyor will transport containers from the container supply and sleeves from the sleeve supply into the heat shrink oven. According to the invention a sleeve support will hold one or more sleeves in a predetermined position with respect to the container. The sleeve support comprises a platform supporting a part of a circumferential edge of the sleeve. Further one or at least two sleeve support elements are arranged to abut on an external side of the sleeve and to support the sleeve in an opened state.

  • Patent number: 8701885
Abstract: A container set which connects and packages a plurality of containers with a package sheet is provided, wherein at least one container has a shape in which a plurality of large-width portions having a larger width in a connecting direction as compared with the other portions are formed on respective sides of a small-width portion having a smaller width than the large-width portion, with the small-width portion therebetween; the package sheet has a plurality of tubular portions which are shrunk along an outer shape of the containers and which individually store the containers; and, in the tubular portions, a connecting portion is formed between adjacent tubular portions at least at a part of the tubular portion corresponding to the large-width portion, and the tubular portions which oppose each other are separated from each other at the small-width portion, with no connecting portion formed.

  • Publication number: 20140041801
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly of reels and transport platforms. The reels comprise foil to be arranged as labels onto containers. The invention also relates to a method for arranging a label onto a container at a labelling plant. According to the method containers and labels are provided at the labelling plant. The labels are arranged onto the containers. At a foil production plant, at least 80 mm of foil height of foil comprising labels is wound onto a deformable core with an opening. This forms a reel. Three or more reels are positioned on a transport platform such as a pallet for transporting to the labelling plant. Two of the reels are ovally shaped having an oval ratio (Rlw) of length:width of at least 1.1. At the labelling plant the foil is unwound from the reel and cut into labels.

  • Publication number: 20140041341
Abstract: An apparatus for heat shrinking a film wrapping an object includes a housing having a heat treatment chamber, a transport device for supporting and moving the object through the heat treatment chamber. Steam, supplied from at least one supply is led to at least a first and a second fluid outlet device and directed at the transported object using one or more outlets. The fluid outlet devices are disposed on opposite sides of the transport device. According to the invention the apparatus and method further include generating a downward directed fluid flow in an area extending between the fluid outlet devices having a lower temperature than the steam supplied from the outlets. This results in improved sleeving results and higher efficiency.
