  • Patent number: 6147325
Abstract: In a fixing device for fixing a soldering tip to a soldering device, the soldering tip comprises a front working end and a rear fixing end opposite the front working end, and the soldering device comprises a joining end for fixing the fixing end. A rotational-symmetric section is arranged at least at one end. In order to enable in a constructive and simple manner a safe and easily detachable fixing of a soldering tip in the soldering device, one end comprises a conical section, which is provided with an outer cone at least at some portions in the circumferential direction. This outer cone is arranged eccentrically with respect to the rotational-symmetric section, wherein the other end is provided with an inner cone in which the outer cone is supported rotatable between an insertion position and a fixing position.

  • Patent number: 5299725
Abstract: A desoldering tool for melting and collecting solder includes a heated desoldering tip connected to a suction tube. The tip and tube from a flow bore for the flow of melted solder. The suction tube projects into an elongated tin collecting container which in turn is connected to a vacuum tube connected to a vacuum source. The axis of the suction tube traverses the axis of the container such that the solder flowing rom the suction tube is directed toward the interior wall of the container. That portion of the suction tube extending into the container forms a tin collecting space therearound for collecting the melted tin flowing from the mouth of the suction tube.

  • Patent number: 5248076
Abstract: A soldering tool comprises a handle (10) and a rod-shaped or tubular heating element fastened to the front end of the handle. A soldering tip (4) can be placed on the free end of the heating element. The soldering tip (4) has a borehole for receiving the free end of the heating element and can be fixed to the handle (10) or heating element by means of a fastening sleeve (1). The end of the fastening sleeve (1) nearer the soldering tip has first rotary catches (2, 3) which can be locked by second rotary catches (5) arranged at the rear end of the soldering tip (4) by turning the fastening sleeve (1) relative to the soldering tip (4).
