  • Publication number: 20170190559
Abstract: The invention relates to a bar system (1) for simultaneously pouring beer (3) from a reservoir (2) into a plurality of containers such as glasses (4), comprising a supply line (5) having an adjoining distributor region (6) having a plurality of outlets (7), wherein the beer (3) can be conducted via the supply line (5) into the distributor region (6) and via the latter into the containers such as glasses (4). In order to fill the containers such as glasses (4) uniformly with beer (3) and with a head of foam of equal height, it is possible according to the invention to till the distributor region (6) completely with beer (3) when the supply line (5) is partially full.

  • Patent number: 5806268
Abstract: A building skeleton comprising profiled bars of rectangular profile and/or of I-profile. The rectangular bars have undercut grooves of the same size and cross section that extend longitudinally along each of the sides of the rectangular bars. The I-bars have such grooves on the outward sides of the transverse parts of the I-bars. Intermediate elements are receivable in the grooves for connecting two bars having grooves laid one over the other or two bars arranged one after the other along a path. In one embodiment, smaller cross section rectangular bars are telescopically insertable into hollow, larger cross section rectangular bars. The height of a side of the rectangular bar may be the same as the height of an I-shaped bar between its transverse parts or their respective heights may be different, which enables nesting of a smaller size rectangular bar or a smaller sized I-bar between the transverse parts of a larger size I-bar.

  • Patent number: 4844841
Abstract: Compounds of formula ##STR1## wherein X is long-chain alkyloxy, long-chain alkylamino or long-chain dialkylamino,M is alkali metal, pyridinium or ammonium,Y is hydroxy or long-chain alkyloxy, which are especially useful in photometric and fluorimetric investigations of lipids and lipid-water interactions and of cationic biomolecules such as nicotine adenine dinucleotide.

  • Patent number: 4556148
Abstract: The disclosure concerns a rack for displaying articles and comprising an assembly of horizontally and vertically oriented profiled bars, each provided with longitudinal grooves within which displaceable clamping elements can be clamped. These clamping elements may be rack inserts or serve as supports for such inserts. Grooves of adjacent vertical bars open toward each other for receiving wall-like elements. Also, other grooves of the vertical bars open into the interior area of the rack. Profiled bars which meet at corners are connected to each other by plug elements which plug into the bars and are hidden by the bars.

  • Patent number: 4453363
Abstract: The disclosure concerns a structural element for use in buildings or the like, which structural element is generally I-beam shaped. The structural element includes a web and two flanges at the opposite edges of the web and extending across the edges of the web and along the length of the web. The flanges are shaped so as to have an outwardly facing groove. In addition, a groove is defined between the two flanges at each side of the web. The flange is so shaped that the outward end of each groove is narrower in width than the section of the groove nearer to the web. The side extensions of the flanges are oriented so that opposite flanges are parallel. The two flanges are of different widths.

  • Patent number: 4364216
Abstract: The disclosure concerns a multipurpose structural unit for fastening parts of buildings, or the like, together. The unit comprises a longitudinally elongaged bar, which may be either solid or hollow and which may be comprised of various different materials. The bar has two opposite transverse sides and two opposite end sides which joint the transverse sides. At least one longitudinal groove is defined in each transverse side of the structural unit, and a longitudinal groove may also be defined in each end side of the structural unit. The surfaces between the edge of the groove in the transverse side and the end side of the structural unit slant obliquely inwardly toward the center of the structural unit, whereby the structural unit has a generally octagon shaped exterior profile or cross-section. The cross-section shapes of the longitudinal grooves are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 3983565
Abstract: A device for recording speed operating conditions of a wheeled vehicle having wheels on which it travels, comprises a housing having at least one speed information recording stylus, and preferably at least one excess speed information recording stylus. The housing includes a connection for obtaining information of the speed of travel of the vehicle and for imparting the information to the stylus for recording on a continuous recording medium which is moved past each stylus. A presettable arrangement is provided for indicating on the excess speed information recording stylus whenever a predetermined speed is exceeded. The recording medium is driven by a drive which may, for example, be a constant speed drive, and the medium is advantageously long enough so that it may operate for at least 10,000 km. The housing for the device is advantageously of a size of a small car radio, such as one having maximum dimensions of 8 cm in height, 20 cm in width and 30 cm in depth.
