  • Patent number: 7651572
Abstract: A method for executing a washing program in a dishwasher includes a spray system for spraying a washing liquid within a dishwasher onto crockery that has been disposed in the dishwasher as a washing program is executed. Before such spraying of the washing liquid, the washing liquid is heated to a predetermined temperature in a flow section that is separate from the spray system to an extent such that the washing liquid does not substantially impinge on crockery in the dishwasher as it is being heated in the flow section, whereupon the washing liquid is heated without substantially wetting crockery in the dishwasher. After the washing liquid has been heated to the predetermined temperature, the washing liquid is sprayed onto crockery, whereupon crockery in the dishwasher that essentially has not been heated is heated by the washing liquid.

  • Patent number: 7287536
Abstract: In a dishwasher having a dishwashing compartment and a pump fluidically connected to the dishwashing compartment for channeling liquid to the dishwashing compartment, the pump disposed outside the dishwashing compartment and including a pump housing defining an interior and housing a motor and an impeller, a heater for heating dishwashing liquid includes a heating device disposed on the pump housing in heat-conducting contact with the interior of the pump housing.

  • Patent number: 7185874
Abstract: A fixing element is provided for fixing a household appliance to a part of the kitchen cabinetry, which is adjacent to the household appliance. The fixing element is configured as a fixation lug and is disposed between the household appliance and the part substantially at least over the total height of the part of the kitchen cabinetry. A compact fixing element is thus obtained, which permits a precise, stable, easy and economic fixation of the household appliance into an opening in the kitchen cabinetry. Another advantage of the lateral fixing element is the clean and pleasant aspect thereof. Moreover, flexible use of only one type of fixing element is possible, due to the fact that the element can be used independently of the counter top material as well as in case of elevated mounting of the appliance or in case of a cutout counter top.

  • Patent number: 6966323
Abstract: A gas-heated dishwasher includes a gas burner for heating the rinsing liquid and drying dishes, which is suitable for drying dishes and heating the rinsing liquid in an efficient way, while, at the same time, making it possible for a worktop to be placed on top of the dishwasher, the gas burner is embodied and disposed in the motor chamber so that it heats at least one closed tubular heating body filled with a fluid during a sub-program dry section and heats the rinsing fluid during the sub-program sections when the rinsing fluid is used.
