  • Publication number: 20230314814
Abstract: An eyeglass lens for an optical imaging element for producing a virtual image of an initial image includes a main body and at least one complementary element mounted on the main body. The main body has a material with a first index of refraction n1. A viscous or solid intermediate layer is arranged between the complementary element and the main body at least in the region where the complementary element overlaps with a reflection section of the main body. The material of the viscous or solid intermediate layer has a second index of refraction n2 that satisfies the condition n2<n1 sin(?E). ?E is an angle of incidence of the light beams of the imaging beam path proceeding from the incoupling section and incident on the reflection section, selected such that at least 50% of the light beams of the imaging beam path have an angle of incidence of ?>?E.

  • Publication number: 20220179448
Abstract: Systems, methods, computer programs and devices are provided where a virtual operating system application essentially operating a device with reduced computing power runs on a mobile device. The virtual operating system may allow running of applications for the further device or act as a proxy for the further device to be controlled by other applications running on the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 10247949
Abstract: A method for adjusting a display device with a holder that can be fitted on the head of a user includes a front section in which two spectacle lenses are arranged which are connected to each other via a central part, an imaging unit secured to the holder, which generates an image, and an imaging optical system secured to the holder which, when the holder is fitted on the head of the user, images the generated image into an exit pupil such that the user can perceive it as a virtual image with his first eye. The first spectacle lens with the coupling-out section is positioned in such a way that the exit pupil of the imaging optical system coincides at least partially with the pupil of the first eye of the user when the holder is fitted on the head of the user.

  • Patent number: 9989767
Abstract: A spectacle lens for a display device can be fitted on the head of a user and generate an image. The front side and/or the rear side can be curved. A light guiding channel can guide-light bundles of pixels of the generated image, which are coupled into the spectacle lens via the coupling-in section and coupled out of the spectacle lens via the coupling-out section. The light guiding channel includes a first reflecting surface and a second reflecting surface spaced apart from the first reflecting surface, each of which extend in a direction from the coupling-in section to the coupling-out section. At least one of the two reflecting surfaces can be formed as a switchable layer which can be switched into a first and a second state. The reflectivity of the switchable layer in the first state is higher than in the second state.

  • Patent number: 9989766
Abstract: A spectacle lens for a display device can be fitted on the head of a user and generate an image. The spectacle lens includes a curved front and/or side, wherein a light guiding channel which is suitable for guiding light bundles of pixels of the generated image, which are coupled into the spectacle lens via the coupling-in section of the spectacle lens, in the spectacle lens to the coupling-out section to couple them out of the spectacle lens via the coupling-out section. The coupling-out section includes at least two deflecting surfaces arranged next to each other which reflect the light bundles in the direction of the rear side for the coupling out. Deflecting surfaces can be formed as a switchable layer which can be switched into a first and a second state, wherein the reflectivity of the switchable layers in the first state is higher than in the second state.
