  • Patent number: 11964280
Abstract: A microfluidic device for obtaining a homogenous plasma-reagent mixture includes a collection module for blood plasma arranged to passively separate the blood plasma from a drop of blood taken, a capillary channel in fluidic connection with said collection module and a storage reservoir for a reagent in fluidic connection with said capillary channel. The device also contains a mixing chamber in fluidic connection with said capillary channel equipped with a flow outlet. The volume of said storage reservoir for reagent being greater than the sum of the volumes of said capillary channel and of said mixing chamber, setting the reagent in motion, after saturation of said capillary channel with blood plasma, induces a flow of the homogenous plasma-reagent mixture from the flow outlet.

  • Publication number: 20240081701
Abstract: A microfluidic device for obtaining a quantity of plasma includes a collection module for blood plasma arranged to passively separate the blood plasma from a drop of blood taken, a capillary channel in fluidic connection with said collection module and a storage chamber for a gas in fluidic connection with said capillary channel. The volume of said storage chamber, after saturation of said capillary channel with blood plasma, entrains the plasma in the capillary channel and causes up to the entire so volume of the plasma in the capillary channel to be ejected from a flow outlet of the capillary channel.

  • Patent number: 9136062
Abstract: A method for sealing an impregnation orifice of an energy storage assembly including a case. The orifice is provided in one of the walls of the case and has an outer mouth and an inner mouth. At least one end portion of a head of a tool driven in rotation is inserted into the orifice through the outer mouth, in a direction corresponding to the axis of the orifice in order to heat an area of the case in the vicinity of the orifice. The head has at least a first transverse section, and a second transverse section that is smaller than the first transverse section. Once the area is heated, a translation of the tool in the direction of the inner mouth moves the material forming the walls of the orifice in the direction of the inner mouth, and the orifice is sealed by readhesion of the material.
