  • Patent number: 4819266
Abstract: A telephone apparatus composed of a telephone set and a device for changing its angle of inclination relative to its support surface is provided. To this end, a wire shackle is pivotably seated in the floor trough of the telephone set, whereby two different positions of the telephone set relative to its supporting surface are selectable on the basis of the shaping of the wire shackle. Portions of the shackle engagable with the support surface are provided with an elastic, riffled cladding to prevent slipping of the shackle on the support surface.

  • Patent number: 4810066
Abstract: A cover is provided for interchangeable character media or light sources including latch elements which interact with corresponding cooperating latches within a depression of the terminal equipment. The cover which can be released or attached at any time without the assistance of tools. The cover is fashioned strip-like and one end thereof includes a short nose cooperating with a recess in the depression whereas the other end of the cover has a resilient tab including a crowned thickening in its end region, this resilient tab engaging behind a shoulder within the depression. The cover lies against projections within the depression with pre-tension.

  • Patent number: 4758168
Abstract: A contact device for plugs is arranged on the component side of the printed circuitboard and includes soldered connections which penetrate through the printed circuitboard and are soldered to conductor paths of the printed circuitboard on the opposite side thereof. The countercontacts of a plug can be inserted from the soldering side of the printed circuitboard and penetrate through a recess through the printed circuitboard. The purpose of the invention is to provide a contact device which can be applied together with the components from one side of the printed circuitboard by way of an automatic equipping machine. Accordingly, at least one plug receptacle forms the contact device. The plug receptacle includes two flanks which serve for mechanical and electrical fastening to the printed circuitboard and between which a plug tongue is arranged for contacting the respective countercontact of the plug.

  • Patent number: 4754533
Abstract: Fastening of flat component parts to a housing part by means of retaining clips is provided. This procedure should proceed quickly and without the assistance of a tool.To this end, the appertaining retaining clip is angularly fashioned and has its one leg engaging within a shaft-like receptacle. This leg lies partially against a wall of the housing part, whereas the other leg is supported against the component part under pre-tension.

  • Patent number: 4731836
Abstract: A telephone set is provided including at least one deposit trough for the handset provided in the stationary housing part. A filler member is arranged in the edge region of the deposit trough, this filler member terminating flush with the deposit trough during table-top operation of the telephone set, whereas a nose connected thereto of one piece projects beyond the contours of the deposit trough upon use of the telephone set as a wall unit. The filler member should be securable such that the user himself can refit the telephone set to the two operating positions in a simple way. To this end, a freely accessible cutout into which the filler member can be introduced in two use positions is provided in the edge region of the deposit trough.

  • Patent number: 4593158
Abstract: A telephone subscriber station with a lower housing component on which there are pivotably mounted a chassis, which contains all the main components of the subscriber station, and the upper housing component. The chassis, which is mounted so that it is displaceable in the horizontal plane, is fixed in both the vertical and horizontal planes. For this purpose the upper housing component possesses a projection which, when the station is in the assembled state, presses on a spring-like lug of the chassis in the vertical plane. The chassis is also provided with an operating array which engages a recess in the upper housing component. By displacing the chassis in the horizontal plane it is possible to introduce the operating array into the correct position in the recess.
