  • Publication number: 20210245196
Abstract: This invention is directed to a plasma cord coating device comprising a pair of opposite and parallel plate electrodes having a first electrode and a second electrode, a pair of planar and parallel dielectric barriers including a first dielectric barrier, and a second dielectric barrier, wherein the first electrode is covered by the first dielectric barrier on a side facing the second electrode and the second electrode is covered by the second dielectric barrier on a side facing the first electrode to form a gap between the first and the second dielectric barriers. This device includes a first foil which extends through the gap and covers the first dielectric barrier and a second foil which extends through the gap and covers the second dielectric barrier to form a plasma treatment zone between the first foil and the second foil.

  • Publication number: 20180294070
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of making a cord-reinforced rubber article, comprising the steps of A) mixing a carrier gas, a sulfur-containing compound and an alkyne, to form a gas mixture; B) generating an atmospheric pressure plasma from the gas mixture; C) exposing a reinforcement cord to the atmospheric pressure plasma to produce a coated reinforcement cord; and D) contacting the coated reinforcement cord with a rubber composition comprising a diene based elastomer.

  • Publication number: 20070079003
Abstract: Network devices (30) receiving first packets from first devices (10) and in response transmitting second packets to second devices (20), and receiving third packets from the second devices (20) and in response transmitting fourth packets to the first devices (10), get manipulation means (40) for manipulating information at layers higher than internet protocol layers of headers of packets for improving transport efficiencies between the first and second devices (10,20). The higher layer may comprise a transport control protocol layer-4 to allow the network devices (30) to take over acknowledging functions of the second devices (20) and to take over re-transmission functions of the first devices (10) and to support the second devices (20) through offering additional buffer space and to support the first devices (10) through offering extended/advanced stream management.

  • Publication number: 20050044273
Abstract: The present invention is related to a method to control and to change dynamically a MAC address in an aggregation network containing at least a server computer device and a client device, comprising the steps of: Sending from said client device to a server computer device a message (1,11) containing the MAC address of said client computer device, Retrieving said MAC address from said message at said server computer device (2,12), Checking if said MAC address is already in use (by a user) in said network or if said server computer device wants to change all MAC addresses in said network, If so, sending from said server computer device to said client device a message (3,13) containing a new MAC address for said client, Overwriting said MAC address with said new MAC address in said client computer device (4,14).
