  • Patent number: 8939524
Abstract: A shelter comprises an enclosure for delimiting an air-conditionable enclosure interior and a container that is externally mounted to the enclosure and has a container space for receiving a cooling installation. The enclosure comprises at least one passage for heat recirculation from the enclosure interior to the container space. The shelter provides protection against detrimental exterior influences so that a reliable and energy-efficient cooling of the enclosure interior is ensured.

  • Publication number: 20120242206
Abstract: In a shelter comprising an enclosure for delimiting an air-conditionable enclosure interior and a container that is externally mounted to the enclosure and has a container space for receiving a cooling installation, a superior protection against detrimental exterior influences shall be provided so that a reliable and energy-efficient cooling of the enclosure interior is ensured. To solve this problem it is suggested that the enclosure comprises at least one passage for heat recirculation from the enclosure interior to the container space.

  • Patent number: 8251786
Abstract: The invention relates to a protection device for ventilation ducts where at least one duct opening for the supply and/or evacuation of air is provided, in particular for fire protection of air conditioned rooms for information technology installations. To separate the protection zones in the event of an emergency according to high safety standards, it is suggested that said protection device comprises at least one protection slide that is supported in a vertically displaceable manner and furthermore includes a sliding mechanism by means of which said protection slide is movable from an open position to a closed position of said duct opening, said duct opening being completely covered by said protection slide in said closed position.

  • Patent number: 5095679
Abstract: The invention relates to composite sections consisting of a metallic part which is connected, through an intermediate layer of heat-insulating parts, to a non-metallic part. The heat-insulating part is connected rigidly to the non-metallic part but is connected to the metallic part by positive means and pressure, the pressure providing--while the positively connected parts are approaching each other, at right angles to the longitudinal extent thereof, by plastic deformation of the webs or projections within the corresponding recesses in the heat-insulating part--a clamping action with limited contact areas, whereby limited longitudinal and/or transverse displacements are possible at specific load values in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction (differences in thermal expansion).
