  • Patent number: 7455167
Abstract: A device (10), which is for holding a transport unit (W) that moves in a transport direction (T), includes an actuator (16) equipped with a drive unit (16c/16d) and an actuating element (16a), which, in an extended position, can be brought directly or indirectly into a holding engagement with the transport unit (W); a sensor unit (22) that is situated before the actuator (16) and a sensor unit (24) that is situated after the actuator (16), both of which are for detecting the presence of a transport unit (W); and a control unit (28) for receiving the detection results of the transport unit sensor units (22, 24) and controlling the actuator (16), wherein the two sensor units (22, 24), the control unit (28), and at least the drive unit (16c/16d) of the actuator (16) are integrated into a shared housing (12).

  • Patent number: 6401670
Abstract: A device for regulating transmission oil temperature having a heat exchanger through which the oil flows and to which coolant from an internal combustion engine can be supplied through at least one valve controlled by a thermostatic operating element immersed in the oil, the device includes a flow control body attached to a heat exchanger in a flange-like manner, the flow control body containing an oil channel connected to an oil outlet of the heat exchanger into which a housing enclosing the thermostatic operating element projects for the detection of and response to the temperature of the oil exiting the heat exchanger, the thermostatic operating element having a work piston connected to an extension member which is connected to the at least one valve in the flow control body, the valve disposed between at least one coolant inlet and a coolant opening to the heat exchanger.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 18, 2001
Date of Patent: June 11, 2002
Assignee: Behr Thermot-tronik GmbH & Co,
    Inventors: Barbu Frunzetti, Erwin Olescher
