    Abstract: The invention relates to a process for reeling a paper web, particularly a tissue web, specifically when starting up the machine and after a web break. According to the invention, this is achieved by pressing the paper web tail (8?) or the entire width of the web onto the reel drum (5) and securing it there by means of an auxiliary roll (9) before it is transferred to the reel spool (3). The invention also relates to a device for reeling a paper web, particularly a tissue web, specifically when starting up the machine and after a web break, using a reel spool (3) and a reel drum (5). An auxiliary roll (9) is provided in addition to press a paper web tail (8?) or the entire web width onto the reel drum (5) and secure it there.
