  • Patent number: 12010070
Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters of a cell. The cell comprises bandwidth parts (BWPs). The BWPs comprise a first active BWP. The configuration parameters comprise a timer value for a BWP inactivity timer. A first downlink control information (DCI) indicating an activation of the cell is received. In response to the first DCI indicating the activation of the cell: the first active BWP is activated; and the BWP inactivity timer is started based on the timer value. During the BWP inactivity timer running, a second DCI is received via the first active BWP.

  • Patent number: 11985708
Abstract: A wireless device receives RRC message(s) comprising: a first maximum value for a preamble transmission counter; and a second maximum value for a second counter. The second maximum value is different from the first maximum value. A control order initiating a random access procedure on a first unlicensed cell is received. A listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure for transmission of a preamble for the random access procedure is performed. Based on the LBT procedure indicating an LBT failure for transmission of the preamble for the random access procedure: a value of the preamble transmission counter is keep the same; and a value of the second counter based on the LBT failure is incremented. The preamble transmission counter counts a number of preamble transmissions. The random access procedure is cancelled based on either the preamble transmission counter reaching the first maximum value or the second counter reaching the second maximum value.

  • Patent number: 11968679
Abstract: Wireless communications are described. A base station may send control information for scheduling data to be transmitted to the wireless device via a downlink. The control information may comprise one or more indications of wireless resources to be used by the wireless device to receive the data. The wireless device may receive the data based on one or more determinations/conditions, such as satisfying a time offset (e.g., between reception of the downlink information and a scheduled transmission of the data), whether a control resource set is configured to indicate a transmission configuration state, and/or whether the control information indicates a transmission configuration state.

  • Patent number: 11950279
Abstract: A wireless device may perform a listen-before transmit (LBT) procedure for an uplink transmission. An LBT failure recovery procedure may be initiated based on a failure of one or more LBT procedures. The LBT failure recovery procedure may be aborted and/or canceled based on one or more conditions, such as receiving configuration (or reconfiguration) parameters, receiving an indication of a bandwidth part switching, deactivating a cell, and/or receiving a request to set (or reset) a communication layer of the wireless device.

  • Patent number: 11949632
Abstract: Uplink resources for semi-persistent channel state information (SP-CSI) reports and other uplink transport block transmissions may be managed. If resources allocated to the SP-CSI reports overlap, in time, with resources allocated to the uplink transport block transmissions, a determination of whether to drop an SP-CSI report may be made. Various selection criteria may be used to make this determination.

  • Patent number: 11930396
Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters of: one or more first cells in a first frequency band; and one or more second cells in a second frequency band. A physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) signal in the first frequency band is transmitted via the one or more first cells. The wireless device determines, independent of transmissions of the PUSCH signals in the first frequency band, whether to transmit or to drop a configured transmission of at least one sounding reference signal (SRS) via the one or more second cells of the second frequency band. The configured transmission of the at least one SRS overlaps with the PUSCH signal. Based on the determination: the at least one SRS are transmitted via a second cell of the one or more second cells; or the at least one SRS is dropped.

  • Patent number: 11929946
Abstract: A wireless device transmits, via a first uplink bandwidth part (BWP), a first preamble for a random-access procedure. A determination is made of a second uplink BWP for transmission of a second preamble for the random-access procedure. The determination is based on not receiving, via a first downlink BWP associated with the first uplink BWP, a random-access response corresponding to the first preamble. Based on the determination of the second uplink BWP, the first downlink BWP is switched to a second downlink BWP associated with the second uplink BWP. The second preamble is transmitted via the second uplink BWP.

  • Patent number: 11903035
Abstract: Wireless communications using multiple active resources (e.g., bandwidth parts (BWP)) are described. A predetermined rule may be used to determine on which downlink (DL) BWP of multiple active DL BWPs, and/or on which uplink (UL) BWP of multiple active UL BWPs, a message is to be sent. • Publication number: 20240049065
Abstract: A first base station receives, from a second base station, cell configuration parameters of one or more cells of the second base station, the cell configuration parameters indicating at least one first information element (IE) indicating a first identifier of a first cell of the one or more cells, at least one second IE indicating that the first cell is an unlicensed cell, and at least one third IE indicating a radio frequency channel number of the unlicensed cell. • Patent number: 11895582
Abstract: A wireless device monitors a downlink control channel of a transmission reception point (TRP) on an active bandwidth part (BWP) of a cell, where the TRP is in an active state. First channel state information reports of the TRP for the active BWP are transmitted. The TRP transitions from the active state into a dormant state in response to a first time period of inactivity on the TRP. The monitoring is stopped. Second channel state information reports of the TRP for the active BWP are transmitted when the TRP is in the dormant state.
