  • Patent number: 11888575
Abstract: A base station may transmit, to a wireless device, one or more messages comprising configuration parameters for a primary cell and a secondary cell. The configuration parameters may indicate a deactivation timer for the secondary cell and a bandwidth part (BWP) inactivity timer for the primary cell. The base station may start the deactivation timer in response to activating the secondary cell. The base station may start the BWP inactivity timer in response to switching an active BWP of the primary cell. The base station may stop the BWP inactivity timer of the primary cell based on triggering a random-access procedure for the secondary cell. In response to the deactivation timer of the secondary cell expiring during the random-access procedure, the base station may restart the BWP inactivity timer of the primary cell.

  • Patent number: 11889471
Abstract: A core network node of a first public land mobile network (PLMN) receives, from a wireless device, a requested international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) offset value for offsetting an IMSI of the wireless device. The core network node transmits, to the wireless device, an accepted IMSI offset value for offsetting the IMSI of the wireless device. First paging occasions of the first PLMN are derived using an alternative IMSI. The alternative IMSI is determined based on a sum of the IMSI of the wireless device and the accepted IMSI offset value.

  • Publication number: 20240031056
Abstract: A wireless device, having first features, receives at least one system information block (SIB) indicating random access resources for wireless devices having the first features. The random access resources are associated with a first set of transport block (TB) scaling factors among a plurality of sets of TB scaling factors. In response to transmission of a preamble indicated by the random access resources, a downlink control information (DCI) is received that indicates reception of a TB including a response to the preamble. The DCI includes a first field for scaling the TB. Based on the first scaling field and the wireless device having the first features, a TB scaling factor is determined from the first set of TB scaling factors. The TB is received based on the TB scaling factor.
