    Abstract: The present invention relates to films comprising a number of repeating microlayer units. The repeating units include one layer made from a barrier resin derived from one or more monomers having at least one oxygen atom, and one layer comprising a non-polar polyolefin. By ensuring that the micro layers are a micron or less it has been discovered that the microlayers adequately adhere to each other without the need for a tie layer between the polar and non-polar layers.
