    Abstract: An electronic device, comprising: a wake-up source configured to receive an electronic communication from a remote electronic device and generate a wake-up signal indicating a receipt of the electronic communication; a microcontroller configured to generate a power control signal indicating a receipt of power by the microcontroller by a power source; and a power conditioning circuit that processes the wake-up signal and the power control signal and provides the power from the power source to the microcontroller when at least one of the wake-up signal and the power control signal is in an enable state.
