  • Publication number: 20250383033
Abstract: Disclosed are strain-relief clip assemblies, which include a fixing portion and/or a mount portion, for providing strain relief to bundles of elongated objects (e.g., cables). In one example, a strain-relief clip assembly includes a fixing and a mount. The fixing is configured to secure onto a bundle and the mount is configured to attach the fixing to a structure. The fixing and the secured bundle are configured to rotate independently relative to the mount to provide resistance to axial and rotational movement to the bundle, which may be, in some instances, caused by the inadvertent mishandling of the bundle (e.g., wiring harness) during an installation process. Additionally, the utilization of the disclosed strain-relief clip assemblies may decrease cable rotation and twisting that is caused by vibration, which can provide a strain relief solution for high-speed data cables for sensors, cameras, radars, and the like.

  • Patent number: 12253197
Abstract: This document describes techniques and apparatuses, which include improved bi-directional buttonhead ties, techniques for manufacturing bi-directional buttonhead ties, and techniques for using bi-directional buttonhead ties. In aspects, a bi-directional buttonhead tie is configured for securing an elongated member to a support structure and includes a tie strap and a locking head. The tie strap includes a first side and a second side. The locking head includes an outer side opposite a panel side, the tie strap extending from the panel side of the locking head, the locking head further including a first slot extending through the locking head from the outer side to the panel side, the first slot configured to receive a portion of the tie strap therethrough, and a second slot extending through the locking head from the outer side to the panel side, the second slot configured to receive a portion of the tie strap therethrough.

  • Publication number: 20240426420
Abstract: A blind hole mount fastener configured to retain an object to a support structure defining a bore. The fastener includes a stud portion configured to be received within the bore, a head portion configured to limit an insertion of the stud portion into the bore, and a clip member. The stud portion includes a proximal end and a distal end, with a longitudinal axis defined therebetween. The stud portion extends in a first direction from the proximal end to the distal end. The clip member attached to the stud portion orthogonally to the first direction. The head portion attaches to the stud portion proximal end. The stud portion includes a receiver to which the clip member attaches. The clip member configured to be received within the bore with the stud portion. The clip member defines an arcuate portion and at least one spring arm portion extending from the clip member.
