    Abstract: Disclosed is a retractable antenna system designed for enhancing communication capabilities in sea environments for unmanned undersea vehicles (UUVs). The system includes a housing, a retractable antenna system with a central mast ending in a yoke, and an actuator attached to the housing to enable the rotation of the central mast in and out of the housing. Additionally, attachment means are provided for external fixation of the system to the UUV. This innovative design allows for the selective deployment and retraction of the antenna system, providing improved communication functionality for UUVs operating in challenging underwater conditions.
