    Abstract: A financial education tool includes a body portion, a basin disposed within the body portion, and a receptacle into the body portion. The receptacle is configured to receive physical currency into the basin. The financial awareness tool includes a counter configured to detect receipt of the physical currency into the basin, a display, and a user interface configured to receive a user input from a user. The financial awareness tool includes a processor communicatively coupled to the display and the user interface, where the processor is configured to communicate with a server configured to manage a banking account of the user. The processor is configured to, in response to receiving the user input at the user interface, detecting receipt of the physical currency by the counter, or both, instruct the display to display information relating to the banking account of the user.
