  • Publication number: 20240114889
Abstract: A pest control device is disclosed. The pest control device includes a base and a lid. The base includes an opening. The lid is attached to the base and pivotable between a first position and a second position. The lid includes a ramp. When the lid is in the first position: (i) the base and the lid define an interior volume and (ii) the ramp is adjacent the opening of the base. The disclosed pest control device more effectively traps a pest with an adhesive material and facilitate replacement of a used adhesive material.

  • Patent number: 11564386
Abstract: This disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods associated with pest (e.g., rodent) management. An example of a pest-management apparatus includes a detector device having a housing, a magnetic switch coupled to the housing, and circuitry disposed within a cavity of the housing. The detector device is configured to be coupled to a trap having a base and a capture element pivotally coupled to the base such a portion of the capture element is biased toward a capture portion of the base. The circuitry is configured to detect operation of the trap based on a change in state of the magnetic switch responsive to a magnet coupled to the trap. In a particular implementation, the detector device is coupled to the trap via a platform. In another particular implementation, the detector device includes multiple magnetic switches and is configured to concurrently be coupled to multiple traps.

  • Publication number: 20200245605
Abstract: The present disclosure includes pest control devices for trapping pests. For example, some embodiments of the pest control devices comprise a base having a recessed portion, a lip that projects outwardly from and surrounds the recessed portion, and a lid releasably securable to the base, the lid having a cover portion and one or more support(s). The recessed portion may be configured to receive a glue board having a maximum thickness less than the maximum height of the lip. When the lid is secured to the base and a glue board is disposed on the recessed portion, the support(s) can be disposed on the glue board and the cover portion can be disposed above the lip.

  • Publication number: 20180325093
Abstract: This disclosure includes pest-management assemblies (e.g., capture stations, entrance assemblies, and combinations thereof), such as, for example, those that permit a rodent to enter and become trapped (e.g., via adhesive, a snap-trap, and/or being prevented from exiting the assemblies). For example, some embodiments of the present pest-management assemblies comprise a capture station and an entrance assembly comprising a door having a first end and a second end, an entranceway comprising a sidewall defining an opening through which a pest can enter the capture station, and a lip positioned such that it is interior to the capture station, where the lip of the entranceway has an upper edge disposed farther from a floor of the pest-management assembly than the second end of the door when the door is in the closed configuration, the lip positioned such that the lip does not obstruct the door from moving to the open configuration.
