  • Patent number: 5853304
Abstract: The connection facility includes a link strip (3) equipped with at least one wire-connection part (2) formed by a spring blade looped back on itself, the strip being made of a rigid electrically conductive material, and including a main portion (30) that is plane in appearance, and that is edged by at least one support element (31) for supporting a looped connection part, onto which support element such a part is engaged, perforation first, via the perforation (21) with which it is provided at one of its two ends, while also pressing against the support element via its other end (23). The module includes a strip having a main portion which is positioned parallel to a large face forming the back of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4878855
Abstract: An electrical connection terminal for power transporting wires of the type comprising a multi-strand central conductor covered with insulation. The terminal comprises a rigid body (4) having threaded or tapped tubular ends each of which has at least one wire passing opening (7) passing at least partially transversely therethrough and elongate in shape parallel to the longitudinal axis of the terminal. A stopper (6) is screwed onto each tubular end and has a pusher (12) which penetrates into the tubular end to an ever increasing extent as the stopper is screwed thereon. A conducting spike (9) has perforating end points projecting from a common wall (8) through the bottoms of respective ones of the wire passing openings (7) of the tubular ends in order to enable wires inserted into the terminal through said ends to be interconnected by the spike.

  • Patent number: 4704659
Abstract: The invention relates to modular housings for electrical apparatus distributed between the aligned and superposed modules (1) of the housing, which modules are assembled by means of fixed transverse catches (3) and flexible longitudinal lugs (2) which are provided with catch-hooking windows (4). The catches (3) are each provided with an inlet slope facilitating lug sliding when the modules are stacked, they also include snap-fitting chamfers (14) enabling the modules to be reversibly hooked together, together with retaining ramps (7) enabling the modules to be positively locked together. The thrust rims (6) of the windows can pass from the snap-fitting chamfers (14) to the retaining ramps (7) only by applying external pressure to the free ends of the lugs so as to cause the lug material to creep.

  • Patent number: 4586843
Abstract: A device for attaching an object to a wall comprises a body with a cylindrical head centrally disposed on a base. The head incorporates longitudinal elastic members terminating in hooks. These are adapted to engage on the edges of an opening in the wall into which the head is inserted. A clamping ring mounted on the head is movable along its length. A spring is disposed between the base of the body and the clamping ring. The force exerted by this spring is transmitted to the wall so as to lock the hooks on to the edges of the opening. Cooperating guide means on the clamping ring and on the body are adapted to guide the clamping ring as it moves along the head, simultaneously rotating. Cooperating locking means on the body and on the clamping ring are adapted to lock the clamping ring in a bottom position on the head.

  • Patent number: 4481492
Abstract: The switch includes an electromagnet (9) with a moving core (10) which is retracted when voltage is applied. A configuration of three levers (11, 12, 13) which are fixed together in pairs when the switch is cocked. The first lever (11) is integral with the rotary control shaft (3). The second lever (12) pivots on a stationary middle shaft (23) due to the respective actions of the core being released and of an antagonistic spring (15). The third lever (13) pivots on the end shaft (28), is provided with a return spring (16) and holds the control shaft (3) and the first lever (11) in position by being fixed to the other two levers. The third lever which has a middle lock projection (29) for the first lever also has a transversal passage (24) with a notch (27) in which the free end (25) of the second lever (12) can move, said free end itself having a hooked portion (26) which co-operates with the notch (27) in the tripped position and allowing manual or automatic return to the rest position.
