  • Patent number: 8082926
Abstract: A lip categorizing method uses the size and shape of the lips as viewed from the front of the face as a first categorization index and the three-dimensional form of the lips as a second categorization index. The lip categorizing map is composed of a first coordinate axis showing the degree of the first categorization index and a second coordinate axis showing the degree of the second categorization index and has a coordinate system in which the first and second coordinate axes are orthogonal. It also generates makeup information for two-dimensionally correcting the lips of a subject based on preset reference by setting a plurality of points for determining the form features of lips on an image that depicts the lips, and judges the form features of the lips of the subject based on analytical values of the two-dimensional features of the lips measured from the set points.

  • Patent number: 8064648
Abstract: A classifying method according to an eye form considers the eye form feature as an important factor, to provide an eye cosmetic treatment method for appropriately and quickly making up the eye so that the eye balances and looks large and attractive according to the type categorized by the classifying method. A makeup tool is devised by integrating an eye form feature analyzing method with a form shaping method by markup. An eye form classifying method uses as indexes, three forms, namely, the eye frame form showing the shape of the eye contour, the eye form showing the three-dimensional shape of the eye, and the angle form of the inner corner and outer edge, the eye forms are classified. The eye forms are classified by comparing the eye form with the eye form of a reference balanced eye.

  • Patent number: 6091836
Abstract: A method for classifying a face in which facial features are analyzed so that the face is appropriately classified or recognized in order to facilitate an exact and easy creation of an image produced by applying makeup. A first index represents one of a length of the face and a configuration of formational elements of the face, the formational elements including an eye, an eyebrow, a mouth and a nose. A second index represents one of a contour of the face and a contour of each of the formational elements of the face. A face is classified into one of groups of features each of which provides similar impressions by using the first index and the second index.
