  • Patent number: 11355812
Abstract: A device includes a battery case (42) that stores a battery (62A or 62B), a lock mechanism (133) that is capable of fixing and holding the stored battery (62A or 62B) in the battery case (42), and an operation member (44) that is capable of performing switching operation of the lock mechanism (133) between a battery-fixed state and a non-battery-fixed state. The lock mechanism (133) includes a movable block (160) which is supported by the battery case (42) in a displaceable manner. The movable block (160) has a battery restriction portion (160b or 160c) which restricts displacement of the battery (62A or 62B) in a separation direction in a state of being displaced to a battery fixing position, and a holding force receiving portion (160d) which receives a holding force for maintaining the movable block (160) at the battery fixing position from the operation member (44) in a state where the operation member (44) is operated within a predetermined positional range.

  • Patent number: 7533751
Abstract: In a motorcycle or a three-wheeled vehicle which tiltably supports a proximal end portion of a swing arm which pivotally supports a wheel on a vehicle body frame by way of a pivot shaft, the swing arm pivot structure is inexpensive and can be easily assembled without particularly using relatively expensive bearings such as taper bearings. At the same time, the preload adjustment is no longer necessary thus facilitating the assembling operation and the maintenance operation. A proximal portion of the pivot shaft is connected to the swing arm in a state wherein the proximal portion is non-rotatable relative to the swing arm. At the same time, a distal portion of the pivot shaft is fitted in and held by the vehicle body frame in a state wherein the distal portion is rotatable relative to the vehicle body frame.

  • Patent number: 5076383
Abstract: A steering damper device includes a cylinder assembly having a plurality of fluid chambers providing a fluid circuit that is controlled by a control valve assembly which is operatively associated with a steering shaft to detect a steering force applied to the steering shaft. A flow rate control unit having a restriction for restricting a fluid flow in one direction is disposed in fluid passages which provide fluid communication between the fluid chambers through the control valve assembly. The steering damper device comprises an actuator in a hydraulically operated power steering apparatus including an oil pump and a reservoir tank. The cylinder assembly comprises a cylinder for generating an assistive steering force. The flow rate control unit restricts the flow flowing only from the control valve assembly to the oil pump.

  • Patent number: 4976170
Abstract: A method for controlling a stepless automatic transmission of a vehicle and an apparatus therefore automatically control the transmission ratio according to the change with respect to time of a throttle aperture and a driving condition of the vehicle. A change with respect to time of the throttle aperture is taken into account in determining the objective engine speed and the transmission ratio.
