  • Patent number: 5024509
Abstract: The invention provides a compound lens constituted by a couple of lenses fitted with each other at contact surfaces, in which at least one of lenses is made of plastic. Each of the couple of lenses has a cylinder-shape projection on its periphery. An inner cylinder surface of one cylinder-shape projection and an outer cylinder surface of the other cylinder-shape projection are made to form an inlaying part. At least three engaging points are provided evenly around the circumference in the inlaying part to cause frictional force to prevent the compound lens from being splitted.
