    Abstract: A coil tester for testing the functionality of a vehicle ignition coil that has been removed from its vehicle includes a circuit that can be quickly and conveniently connected between the ignition coil and a battery so as to provide a current of sufficient voltage to the ignition coil. The coil tester also includes a momentary switch for preventing overheating of the ignition coil and a scale for indicating the strength of the coil.
