  • Patent number: 11261031
Abstract: A conveyor pan for a chain scraper conveyor comprises a bottom plate and a pair of side profiles fixed to the bottom plate by welding. The conveyor pan has an increased wear resistance, in particular due to a specific geometry of a weld groove formed between the profile rails of the side profile and the bottom plate. The weld groove extends deeper into each profile rail, resulting in a more durable weld connection during use of the conveyor pan. In addition, a geometry of a pocket member for connecting adjacent conveyor pans and an inspection opening formed in the bottom plate have also been improved to result in an increased strength of the conveyor pan.

  • Publication number: 20160017710
Abstract: A coarse crusher for use at both face ends of a face conveyor in an underground mine is disclosed. The coarse crusher may have a pan module with a strand segment for guiding an endless conveying means. The strand segment may be delimited by a first pan outer longitudinal side and a second pan outer longitudinal side which lies opposite the first pan outer longitudinal side. The first pan outer longitudinal side and the second pan outer longitudinal side may have a plurality of first pan fastening apparatuses. The coarse crusher may further have a base-frame module fastened releasably via the corresponding first pan fastening apparatuses to one of the first pan outer longitudinal side and the second pan outer longitudinal side. The coarse crusher may also have a support-arm module fastened releasably to the base-frame module.

  • Patent number: 9132963
Abstract: The invention relates to a multipart chain fixing device for securing at least one conveyor chain on a trough element of especially an underground scraper chain conveyor. The fixing device comprises a bridge part (60), which has a bridge bar (62) that at least partially overlaps the conveyor chain in a positive-locking manner and ends in two lateral side end portions (61). It also comprises two side parts (70), which are fastenable to the trough element pan and to which the side end portions 61 are releasably securable by positive-locking means. For providing a chain fixing device, inclusive of the associated trough element and the individual components, which offer increased safety in underground usage, combined with simple assembly, the side parts (70) are releasably fastenable in a positive-locking manner in cavities in the conveyor floor of the trough element.

  • Publication number: 20150176410
Abstract: A support structure for drive or reversing stations of conveyor or extraction devices in underground mining is described. The support structure has a substructure and an articulated support which may be configured to be vertically adjustable relative thereto by means of a lifting device. At least one spacer element is provided which is configured to be installed between the substructure and the articulated support. A lifting device has two pairs of lifting cylinders whose lifting cylinders are arranged diagonally opposite one another in corner areas of the articulated support and can be actuated in pairs, and that as the spacer element for a lifting stage at least four, preferably six, distance members are provided of which two in each case are placeable in pairs underneath the pair of lifting cylinders which is not loaded during a lifting process.

  • Patent number: 8794429
Abstract: A pan section for combined conveying and winning apparatuses having a bottom run and a top run for guiding driver elements of a conveyor chain, as well as a welded frame structure which has two side cheeks which consist of one-piece rolled profiles. The rolled profiles have a constant profile shape with a bottom leg and a top leg, which are angled outwards in the assembled state, and an intermediate leg being provided with an offset for supporting and welding at least one intermediate plate. The pan section further includes a substructure connected to the bottom leg of the rolled profiles to connect both bottom legs to one another at a distance from the intermediate bottom. The substructure also has mounting pieces positioned at the ends below the bottom legs for transverse-force transmission means.
