  • Patent number: 12049929
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a belt pulley decoupler for transmitting torque between the belt of a belt drive and a shaft in driving connection therewith. The belt pulley decoupler includes a hub, a belt pulley, and a series circuit of a helical torsion spring, a wrap-around band, which surrounds the helical torsion spring with a radial gap, and a driver sleeve, which surrounds the wrap-around band and transmits the torque between the wrap-around band and the helical torsion spring. An outer periphery of the wrap-around band is in frictional contact with an inner lateral surface, which rotates conjointly with the belt pulley, and the outer periphery of the wrap-around band is also in frictional contact with the inner lateral surface of the driver sleeve. An end of the helical torsion spring is in contact with a radially inwardly extending spring plate of the driver sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20240052892
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a belt pulley decoupler for transmitting torque between the belt of a belt drive and a shaft in driving connection therewith. The belt pulley decoupler includes: a hub fastened to the shaft, a belt pulley rotably mounted on the hub, helical torsion spring arranged in a torque flow path between the belt pulley and the hub, a first spring plate extending in the torque flow path on a side of the belt pulley, and a second spring plate rotationally fixed to the hub. The hub has an imbalance which compensates for an imbalance of the helical torsion spring resulting from a ground portion of the spring ends in such a way that the following relationship applies for the spring imbalance {right arrow over (U)}s and the hub imbalance {right arrow over (U)}b.

  • Publication number: 20220213954
Abstract: A decoupler of a drive torque transmission between the belt of an auxiliary unit belt drive and the shaft of one of the auxiliary units, includes: a belt pulley, a hub to be secured to the shaft, a first spring plate having a rotary stop arranged in the drive torque flow on the belt pulley side, a second spring plate having a rotary stop arranged in the drive torque flow on the hub side, a torsion spring having spring ends, the peripheral end faces of which rest on the rotary stops and introduce the force component of the drive torque into the radially widening torsion spring, and a torsional vibration damper having a first friction contact surface arranged in the drive torque flow from the belt pulley and a second friction contact surface arranged in the drive torque flow on the hub side.

  • Patent number: 11079003
Abstract: A belt pulley decoupler for transmitting drive torque from the belt of an auxiliary unit belt drive to the shaft of one of the auxiliary units is provided, including: a belt pulley, a hub to be mounted on the shaft, a first sleeve, which is rotationally fixed in the pulley, a second sleeve, which is rotatable in the pulley, and a series circuit of a decoupler spring and a disposed in the drive torque flow between the belt pulley and the hub. The wrap-around band ends, which couple the two sleeves to one another non-rotatably while transmitting the drive torque, extend the wrap-around band radially. One of the two sleeves has a circumferentially extending slot and the wrap-around band end coupled to this sleeve is configured as a leg, which interlockingly engages in the slot non-rotatably in a direction of rotation of the drive torque.
