  • Patent number: 7772958
Abstract: A circuit breaker with a first contact sleeve (3, 14), a second contact sleeve (4, 16), an insulating sleeve (5, 18) disposed between the first contact sleeve (3, 14) and the second contact sleeve (4, 16) has a switching piston (6, 20) with at least one contact section (8) and an isolating section (7, 19), which is disposed at the side of the contact section (8), whereby the switching piston (6, 20) is movable between a closed position in which the contact section (8) of switching piston (6, 20) connects the first contact sleeve (3, 14) with the second contact sleeve (4, 16) so as to be electrically conductive, and an open position in which the contact section (8) of the switching piston (6, 20) does not connect the first contact sleeve (3, 14) with the second contact sleeve (4, 16), in which the first contact sleeve (3, 14), second contact sleeve (4, 16) and insulating sleeve (5, 18) is movable.

  • Publication number: 20040050853
Abstract: A collecting container for discharging material in piece form in pieces including a device for sealing the discharge opening and for discharging the material in the form of a rotating body in which through openings are provided. The device is disposed inside the collecting container. The through openings of the rotating body can be covered by the discharge opening by rotating the rotating body, thereby allowing the pieces of material to be discharged.

  • Publication number: 20040035138
Abstract: A reliable method for producing and storing ice pieces includes a liquid feeding device dosing liquid to be frozen in a freezer container, the liquid feeding device being in contact with the liquid after it has been introduced. As soon as the liquid is frozen or the ice piece is formed, the liquid feeding device moves to the top, whereby the adherent ice piece is displaced against a scraper. Simultaneously, a chute is moved over the freezer container so that the lower end of the chute is disposed such that the ice piece(s) slides from the chute and falls into a collecting container after it has separated and fallen from the liquid feeding device. Additionally, a cover of the collecting container can be opened during the movement of the chute.

  • Patent number: 5603509
Abstract: A stripping device comprising a stripping ring and a locating ring. The stripping ring is set on a holder in a fitted position thereof. The locating ring is resiliently elastic in design and fits in an annular groove provided in the holder for axially locking the stripping ring in relation to the holder. The stripping ring and the locating ring are attached together with the formation of a subassembly. It is in this manner that the stripping device may be relatively simply produced and handled.

  • Patent number: 5362201
Abstract: A motor vehicle water pump lubricating chamber arrangement having a housing in which a pump shaft is rotatably journalled which carries a running wheel at a free end thereof and which in a lower region adjoining the running wheel has at least one seal. In a region above the lower seal between the pump shaft and the housing there is provided a chamber filled with lubricating medium so that any fluid lubricant which can otherwise discharge around the shaft will have such fluid caught in the lubricating medium chamber rather than escaping with any trace and track of escaping fluid along any external surface of the water pump which could mislead someone to prematurely replacing the water pump when such replacement is not yet necessary. The pump shaft is journalled free of play via roller bearings including roller bodies pressed into the raceways provided on the pump shaft and on the housing respectively.

  • Patent number: 5228380
Abstract: A linear drive comprising a drive member adapted to be reciprocated axially in a housing between two end positions. Opposite to the former there is a wall on at least one axial side. There are means to reduce the impact in the end position, such means having an annular lip. The lip is arranged on the drive member or on the wall and respectively faces the wall or the housing. The lip defines a damping space which is open on an impact side. If the drive member approaches one end position thereof, the damping space is occluded and reduced in volume so that some trapped fluid will escape via a relief opening so that there is a braked part of the stroke. Using simple means it is therefore possible to provide an extremely efficient fluid damping at the end position.
