    Abstract: The present invention is comprised of an at least one of at least two containers of equal of different dimensions, having a sidewall that forms a tubular or parallelogramic inner cavity. The sidewall is terminated or sealed at the top and bottom with a removable lid. The lid may be slightly different for a lid covering the uppermost container. Each removable lid is comprised of a horizontal covering surface having a rim or ribbon around its perimeter. The bottom rim forms a stand or a sealed means for attaching to a lower container, while the top rim, if present and engaged in a sealed association, forms a means for attachment to an upper container. The lid preferably further contains an opening to permit dispensing of contents being stored inside the cavity of the container. There may also exist a top terminal lid whose lid may contain only the just the internal coupler area which forms a tight seal around an upper lip of a container's sidewall.

    Abstract: An improved portable boring bar apparatus includes a small hydraulic motor and drive mechanism for rotating a cylindrical boring bar and axially advancing it in the cutting direction. The boring bar is received in a drive housing, and a support arm affixed to the drive housing includes a bearing for rotationally supporting the boring bar, and a mounting tongue that extends radially beyond the drive housing for attachment to a workpiece mounting arm. At set-up, the workpiece mounting arm is temporarily joined to a set-up support arm identical to the drive housing support arm, and the arms so joined are positioned such that the bearing of the set-up support arm is centered relative to a workpiece pilot hole. The workpiece mounting arm is tack-welded to the workpiece, and the drive housing support arm is joined to the workpiece mounting arm in place of the set-up support arm.

    Abstract: A portable apparatus has a base section that includes a blower, and can be configured for heating or evaporative cooling. By attaching a heating attachment, a gas heating apparatus is provided, and there is no open and/or visible flame. The heating attachment can be replaced with an evaporative cooling attachment, so that evaporative cooling can be performed using the same base with the evaporative cooling attachment. A system of switching pulleys and/or belts to change blower speed, as well as a single switch that operates both devices, is also provided. Thus, a portable heating and evaporative cooling apparatus is provided that has a wide range of industrial application, and that overcomes the related art cost of separate heating and evaporative cooling apparatuses.

    Abstract: A unitary interstage sealing ring for bridging and sealing the space between the blade shanks of adjacent turbine rotors in a multi-stage turbine. The sealing ring serves to confine relatively cool air conveyed to the turbine so the cooling air flows into the turbine blades for maintaining the blades at a desired temperature. The sealing ring includes a disk-shaped body member that includes a pair of axially-spaced, radially-extending arms that terminate in respective seal teeth for engagement with a stationary annular sealing member. Each of the radial arms includes an outwardly-extending axial arm that terminates in a disk engagement member for sealing engagement with the face of an adjacent turbine disk to confine cooling air within the space between the adjacent turbine disks. Additionally, one of the disk engagement members includes at least one, projection that contacts a respective turbine rotor to limit relative rotation between the sealing ring and the turbine.

    Abstract: An overriding clutch having a housing, an outer body, and an inner body, wherein the outer body and inner body are rotatable about a clutch axis. The outer body includes a peripheral wall with a radially inner surface and includes an end wall connected to the peripheral wall and to a first shaft portion. The inner body includes an annular wall portion and a second shaft portion connected to the annular wall portion; and has a compression member with a pair of diametrically opposite roller members. The compression member has a center portion and has a pair of enlarged end portions, which are received in a pair of bearing holes in the annular wall portion. The enlarged end portions have a pair of radially outer sides with a respective pair of end bearing surfaces for urging the respective roller members against the radially inner surface by equal and opposite radial forces, for transmitting a torque from the inner body to the outer body.
