Abstract: A firearm holster system is described that includes a body configured to receive a firearm mounted with a firearm accessory. The holster includes an engagement member including two rail interfaces: one for detachably mounting the engagement member to the firearm, and another for detachably mounting a firearm accessory to the engagement member. The body of the holster is adapted to receive and detachably secure the engagement member. The holster can accommodate most standard firearms, and most firearm accessories. The holster includes a lockable lever to secure the engagement member to the body of the holster.

A holster is mounted on the backing completely within the area defined by the top, bottom and ends of the backing. A flap, permanently attached at the bottom to the backing but releasably attached by hook and pile fasteners (VELCRO.RTM.) at the top and two ends of the backing defines a textile material (fabric) or leather container which simulates a carrying pouch and completely conceals the holster and hand gun. Pockets may be provided in the flap. The holster is reversibly mounted on the backing using hook and pile fasteners, and hook and pile fastener straps releasably hold the hand gun within the holster. To gain access to the hand gun, the hook and pile fasteners at the top and two ends of the backing and flap are detached to completely expose the handgun for ready access.

Abstract: A universal holster assembly for receiving a handgun body which forms a handgun receiving pocket including a muzzle portion, hammer portion and trigger portion. A snap-on fastener is provided at each of the muzzle, hammer and trigger portions for mating engagement with snap fasteners provided on associated mounting devices which enable the holster to be worn under the arm as part of a shoulder harness unit, directly on the belt, or suspended from the belt but inside the trousers.
