Abstract: A flip-top type closure resealably seals a fluid container. The closure includes a body portion, which is attachable to the fluid container, and a cap portion. The cap portion is connected to the body portion by two hinges and is rotatable about the two hinges so that a spout of the body portion may be inserted into the mouth without interference by the cap portion. The closure may include a tamper-evident band to visually indicate tampering with the contents of the fluid container. The closure may also include a pull-tab seal secured to the spout to prevent spillage and/or leakage of the contents of the fluid container.

Abstract: A tow plate is provided which is suitable for use with a floatable oil boom. The tow plate comprises a vertically planar central plate, a pair of skis facing the front of the tow plate and attached to the top portion of the central plate, a buoyant material secured to the upper surfaces of the pair of skis whereby the tow plate is floatable in water, and a pair of planar fins attached perpendicular to the bottom portion of the central plate.

Abstract: An air deflector, which is adapted to be mounted on the roof of a cab of a tractor pulling a trailer and has a frontwardly facing totally curved air deflecting surface that is symmetrical about a vertical center plane and is forwardly convex in all horizontal and vertical cross-sectional planes, is disclosed. To define the deflecting surface, the deflector has a central portion and a pair of symmetrical rearwardly turned wing portions at the opposite sides of the central portion and includes a top edge of substantially circular curvature and a base edge of substantially elliptical curvature.
