Abstract: A truck that includes a bed section located rear of a cab section where the bed section is bounded on each side by opposing first and second upward-extending side walls, respectively. The truck includes a tonneau cover which has a first panel section pivotable with respect to the opposing first and second upward-extending side walls. A latching assembly is attached to the first panel section that selectively secures and releases the first panel section with respect to the first and second upward-extending side walls of the truck. The latching assembly includes at least one adjustable pinch latch assembly. The pinch latch assembly includes a latch handle portion and a latch base located on the first panel section adjacent the latch handle portion.

Abstract: An adjustable bedslide assembly is provided. The adjustable bedslide assembly sets onto a cargo box of a pickup truck and is extendable and retractable relative to the cargo box. The adjustable bedslide assembly includes a deck assembly and a frame assembly. The frame assembly is composed of a first frame section and a second frame section. The first frame section is configured to attach to the cargo box while the second frame section attaches to the deck assembly. The first deck portion is engageable with the second deck portion so the deck assembly is adjustably sizable to fit within the dimensions of the cargo box.

Abstract: A low profile load bar assembly for a bedslide assembly is provided. The bedslide includes a deck, at least one longitudinally extending track, at least one low profile load bar assembly, and a load bar track. The at least one low profile load bar assembly is movably positionable on the at least one longitudinally extending track. The at least one low profile load bar assembly includes at least one low profile sliding standoff movably coupled to the at least one longitudinally extending track. The at least one low profile sliding standoff includes a load bar support that extends from the connector flange adjacent the deck. The load bar support is located adjacent to the at least one longitudinally extending track. The load bar support includes a load bar opening sized and configured to receive the load bar track, and the load bar track is located adjacent to the deck.

Abstract: A clamp assembly for use with a tonneau cover assembly is provided. Illustratively, the clamp assembly may include a first clamp member, a second clamp member, a clamp fastener, and at least one shim. The second clamp member is located opposite the first clamp member to form a space located therebetween. The clamp fastener is extended through the space between the first clamp member and the second clamp member. The at least one shim is located in the space between the first clamp member and the second clamp member.

Abstract: A modular bulkhead panel clamp is provided. The modular bulkhead panel clamp includes a clamp body with a first hook located at a first end of the clamp body and a second hook located at a second end of the clamp body opposite the first hook. The clamp body includes a panel that spaces apart the first hook from the second hook. A first hook distance from a top surface of the panel to the first hook is greater than a second hook distance from the top surface of the panel to the second hook. The first hook includes a first flange located adjacent to and extends away from the first hook. The second hook includes a second flange located adjacent to and extends away from the second hook. One or more tabs extend away from the top surface of the panel of the clamp body.

Abstract: A bedslide assembly is provided. The bedslide may include a deck, a first longitudinally extending track, a second longitudinally extending track, and a first load bar assembly. The first longitudinally extending track is located adjacent the deck. The second longitudinally extending track is located adjacent the deck and spaced apart and about substantially parallel to the first longitudinally extending track. The first load bar assembly includes: a first sliding standoff movably coupled to the first longitudinally extending track, a second sliding standoff movably coupled to the second longitudinally extending track, a load bar track that is supported by the first sliding standoff and the second sliding standoff, wherein the load bar track is supported above the deck.

Abstract: A tonneau cover for use on a cargo box of a pick-up truck is provided. The tonneau cover may include at least one panel and a latching assembly located on the at least one panel. The latching assembly selectively secures and releases the at least one panel. The latching assembly includes at least one shoe. The at least one shoe is configured for moving at least a portion of the latching assembly to release the at least one panel. The at least one shoe is movable between an extended use position and a retracted stowed position with respect to the at least one panel. And the at least one shoe is spring biased to its extended use position.

Abstract: A pickup truck that includes a cab section located in front of a bed section is provided. The pickup truck comprises a tonneau cover that covers the bed section. The tonneau cover includes a plurality of panel sections; and wherein each of the plurality of panel sections is movable with respect to each other to allow access to, or conceal the bed section underneath. At least one prop rod assembly includes a longitudinally extending first rod having a first end and a second end. The first end of the longitudinally extending first rod is pivotably and removably coupled to a side rail that is secured to the first side of the bed section, and the second end of the longitudinally extending first rod is located opposite the first end and pivotably coupled to the first latch assembly of the third panel section.

Abstract: A tonneau cover assembly located over the cargo bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover assembly includes a base panel that extends over the cargo bed of the truck. The tonneau cover also includes at least one cover section that selectively shrouds the cargo bed and is located adjacent the base panel. The tonneau cover assembly includes either one or both a tie-down block assembly and/or a tether assembly.

Abstract: A clamp assembly for use with a tonneau cover assembly is provided. Illustratively, the clamp assembly may include a first clamp member, a second clamp member, a clamp fastener, and at least one shim. The second clamp member is located opposite the first clamp member to form a space located therebetween. The clamp fastener is extended through the space between the first clamp member and the second clamp member. The at least one shim is located in the space between the first clamp member and the second clamp member.

Abstract: A tonneau cover for a bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover includes several improvements including but not limited to a bulkhead panel that is secured to the truck. A first cover panel section pivotably attached to the bulkhead panel. A first intermediate panel section pivotably attached to the first cover panel section and a second panel section. A second intermediate panel section pivotably attached to the second cover panel section and a third panel section. The first cover panel section, the second cover panel section, and the third cover panel section fold to form a stack of cover panel sections which is pivoted upright onto the bulkhead panel which supports the stack of cover panel sections in an upright position. The second intermediate panel section sets upon the bulkhead panel when the stack of cover panel sections is pivoted upright onto the bulkhead panel.

Abstract: A bulkhead panel clamp for a tonneau cover assembly is provided. The bulkhead panel clamp includes a clamp, a flange, and a tab. The clamp body with a hook is located at one end of the clamp body. The flange is located adjacent to and extends in an opposite direction of the hook. The tab is located on the clamp body spaced apart from the hook. The tab also extends away from the clamp body that is in a direction opposite from the flange. The hook is configured to engage a rail and the clamp body is configured to be supported by a bulkhead panel portion of the tonneau cover assembly when the bulkhead panel clamp is in an unclamped position.

Abstract: A tonneau cover assembly that includes at least one panel section and an extension panel. The at least one panel section selectively shrouds at least a portion of an opening of a cargo box. The at least one panel section is movable with respect to the opening. The extension panel coupled to the at least one panel section and is movable between a use position and a stowed position. When in the use position, at least a portion of the extension panel extends from the at least one panel section and exterior of the cargo box.

Abstract: A vehicle that includes a door, handle, shaft, and a latch assembly is provided. The latch assembly is coupled to the door to selectively secure the door. The latch assembly includes a security tether configured to prevent the shaft from moving the pawl when the lock lever is located in the locked condition.

Abstract: A tonneau cover assembly that selectively covers a truck bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover assembly includes a cover and a longitudinally extending rail located adjacent a sidewall of the truck bed. The longitudinally extending rail includes an attachment member. The attachment member extends longitudinally along with the rail and at least a portion of the attachment member is located over a portion of the bed. The cover includes a stiffener located adjacent the attachment member of the longitudinally extending rail.

Abstract: A tonneau cover that includes a cover that selectively shrouds at least a portion of a cargo box opening is provided. The cover includes at least one panel section configured to extend over the cargo box opening. The at least one panel section is movable with respect to the cargo box opening. The at least one panel section also includes a generally planar body. At least a portion of the generally planar body of the at least one panel section is composed of a material that allows light to pass through at least this portion of the generally planar body.

Abstract: A clamp assembly for use with a tonneau cover assembly is provided. The clamp assembly includes a clamp mount, a clamp back, and a clamp fastener. The clamp back is located opposite the clamp mount. The clamp fastener is extended through the clamp mount and the clamp back. The clamp fastener includes an attachment member configured to receive one or more securement structures that are not otherwise attached to the clamp.

Abstract: A bedslide assembly is provided. The bedslide assembly includes one or more of a movable deck frame assembly, a latching assembly, a longitudinally extending rod, and a latch. The latching assembly may be attached to the deck frame assembly. The latching assembly may include a plate that is pivotally coupled about an axis to the deck frame assembly. The longitudinally extending rod may be coupled to the plate at a location that is spaced apart from the axis such that movement of the grip moves the longitudinally extending rod which pivots the plate about the axis. The plate includes a latch arm. Movement of the longitudinally extending rod in a first direction pivots the plate which moves the latch arm in order to abut and move the latch.
