    Abstract: An air cleaner including a casing having an inlet for air to be cleaned and an outlet for cleaned air, a filter in the casing separating the inlet from the outlet, a shroud in the casing separating the filter from the inlet, a first valving arrangement operable to enable flow of air from said inlet to said filter or to disable flow of air from said filter to said inlet, and a second valving arrangement operable to prevent inflow of air to said filter or to enable a scavenge flow of air from said filter.
