The tank carrier apparatus of the invention includes a housing having an interior and exterior, at least two wheels disposed on the exterior surface of the housing, a handle disposed on an opposing exterior surface of the housing from the wheels, a mechanism for securing a tank disposed at least partially in the interior of the housing, and a closeable opening to allow access to the interior of the housing.
