  • Patent number: 9869229
Abstract: A system includes a mounting assembly for a muffler of an off-road vehicle including a first mounting pad rotatably coupled to a first support. The first mounting pad is configured to rotate in a first direction and in a second direction, opposite the first direction, about a first rotation axis. The mounting assembly also includes a second mounting pad rotatably coupled to a second support. The second mounting pad is configured to rotate in the first direction and in the second direction about a second rotation axis. Moreover, the first and second mounting pads are laterally offset from one another relative to a longitudinal axis of the muffler, the first and second mounting pads are configured to support the muffler, and the first and second mounting pads are configured to independently rotate relative to the respective supports about the respective rotation axes.

  • Patent number: 7801878
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of matching a data record with a reference record. The method includes receiving a data record; searching stored reference records for a reference record that is an exact match for the received data record; and, if an exact matching reference record is not found, calculating a distance between the received data record and at least one stored reference record, and determining the at least one stored reference record to be an approximate match, if the calculated distance is less than a pre-determined threshold. The inventive method and system can be used for, but not limited to, invoice processing in an Accounts Payable system, record conciliation in a securities trading system, finding preferred bonds in a bond trading system. Approximate matching records are ranked, and the closest match, or highest ranking match, may be automatically processed, if within a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 7406443
Abstract: A method to trade objects over a network is described. A first order for an object having at least four dimensions associated with the object is received. A memory is searched for a second order with an object having at least four dimensions. The first order is matched with the second order in accordance with the search.

  • Patent number: 4202773
Abstract: Clarifier sludge is dewatered to a relatively low residual moisture content by passing it axially in one direction through an inner centrifuge drum in which initial dewatering takes place in a first centrifugal force field. Immediately thereafter the solids phase is introduced into an outer second drum having a diameter approximately twice that of the first and in which the solids are subjected to a centrifugal force field about twice as great as the first force field. In each drum the solids are displaced by wipers or scrapers (strippers) preferably of the worm type and the liquid is drawn from the drum at the opposite axial end from that at which the solids are removed.

  • Patent number: 4200529
Abstract: A slurry, such as of sulfide-type copper ore, is separated into a coarse suspension and a fine suspension. The coarse suspension is centrifuged to separate the solid and liquid phases thereof. The fine suspension may be centrifuged or filtered separately from the coarse suspension similarly to separate its solid and liquid phases. The solid phases of both of these separation operations are then mixed together and can be used for further smelting. It is also possible according to this invention to use a drum centrifuge both for the initial separation into fine and coarse suspensions and for the dewatering for the coarse suspension.
