Abstract: Systems and methods for printing a three-dimensional object are described. A method may include providing a support matrix having a base component and depositing an ink having the base component, a catalyst, and a cross-linker into the support matrix. The ink may be deposited into the support matrix in a predetermined pattern effective to form a plurality of layers of the ink. The support matrix supports the plurality of layers of the ink, and portions of the support matrix are disposed between at layers of the ink when the plurality of layers are formed in the support matrix. The method also may include solidifying or curing the ink deposited into the support matrix and also the portions of the support matrix deposited between the layers of the ink to form the three-dimensional object.

Embodiments include identifying two tree persons in a genealogical database and extracting a plurality of features from both tree persons to generate two vectors. Embodiments also include calculating a plurality of metrics between the two vectors to generate a metric function. Embodiments further include generating feature weights using a recursive process based on training data input by external users, and generating a score by calculating a weighted sum of the metric function being weighted by the feature weights. The generated score may then be compared to a threshold value.

In a genealogical system where the data records are represented as nodes in a family tree, and where multiple data records may relate the same person in question, the data record management system evaluates not only two data records to determine if they relate to the same person, but also individually evaluate various data records pertaining to people that are related to the person in question. Person match scores are calculated by combining sub-scores based on the comparison of corresponding nodes. Sub-scores for nodes pertaining to related people may be adjusted higher even if those notes do not match, to reflect circumstances such as remarriage.

Abstract: A user-interface system adapted to navigate through a plurality of menus is disclosed. The system comprises a display system comprising a display having a category area on a first portion of the display, the category area displaying a plurality of categories, including a currently displayed category. Each of the plurality of categories has a plurality of items. The display also has a marquee area on a second portion of the display, which displays items of the currently displayed category. The system further comprises a scrolling mechanism for scrolling through items of each category of the plurality of categories. The marquee area is updated by the scrolling mechanism to display the corresponding items in each category. The scrolling mechanism also indicates a position of a currently displayed item of a currently displayed category by updating the category area. Various embodiments are disclosed.
