Abstract: A bowl shaped member having a peripheral edge for positioning proximate a wheel rim to prevent dirt from entering therebetween and a central region having a set of lug bolt openings to permit mounting the wheel cover over the axle shaft and proximate the wheel hub so that the lug bolt holds the wheel cover in a rotatable position to allow dirt and debris to fall off the wheel cover without having an opportunity to adhere to the wheel rim.

Abstract: A latch mechanism for a patio door having a narrow rectangular frame surrounding a window and slidable in a casing so that a vertical frame side abuts the casing when the door is closed. A pair of vertically spaced keepers on the casing are engagable by a pair of spaced latches on the door frame. The latches are biased toward an open position, and are moved by the keepers to a latching position when the door is closed. Catches secure the latches in the latching position, and the door handles are operably connected to the catches by a pair of longitudinally movable tie bars and pivoting links. A locking cam gear is movable by a sliding rack actuator between an unlocked position clear of the tie bars and a locked position with a raised cam surface engaging the tie bars to prevent longitudinal movement of the tie bars.

Abstract: The bearing assembly has an externally-threaded retainer bearing threaded into a housing of deformable metal for rotatably supporting and maintaining a worm gear shaft in position. The retainer bearing has a plurality of flat sides with a spanner wrench slot at the outer end of each side whereby a flat side and spanner wrench slot of the retainer bearing can be located at a particular location relative to the housing and material of the housing is deformed into the space between the flat side of the retainer bearing and the threaded bore of the housing as well as into the spanner wrench slot to securely lock the retainer bearing in position.
