Abstract: Systems and methods that enable the user to access user's files located on a remote computers via network in a secure manner. One or more implementations incorporate various components operating together to allow discovery of the hosts and enable secure access to the documents. At a higher level, various embodiments of the inventive concept may contain a client component and a server component. The server primarily contains two components—a web server component and component designed to assist with connectivity between different computers. In one or more embodiments of the inventive concept, the client may also include two components. Similar to the server, the client may incorporate a web component and the core component, which is configured to allow computers to be discovered and to share data.
