Abstract: Network security and optimization requires user compliance with administrative actions controlled centrally from a server or administrator device to update and/or modify various user computing devices operating on the network. One example of operation may include identifying a diverting action performed via a computing device managed by an administrator device on a computer network, determining the diverting action is related to a software application currently operating on the computing device, transmitting a notification to the administrator device responsive to identifying the diverting action and responsive to determining the software application is currently operating on the computing device.

Abstract: Data security can be optimized by applying secret obfuscation keys which are known, changed and updated among transmitting and receiving devices. One example of operation may include identifying data to be transmitted to a recipient device, receiving a current security pre-condition to use when creating a message to send the data, obfuscating the data based on the current security pre-condition and creating the message to include the obfuscated data, and transmitting the message to the recipient device.

Abstract: Before booting from a main OS into a pre-OS, a pre-OS management component verifies that all critical drivers are present in the pre-OS. The pre-OS management component identifies the hardware devices present on the computer on which the pre-OS is to be booted, and determines which drivers are installed in the pre-OS. If any drivers for critical devices are missing, the pre-OS management component provides a detailed report so that that the user can locate the missing drivers and add them to the pre-OS. In another embodiment, the pre-OS management component automatically obtains and installs the missing drivers.
