  • Publication number: 20230360768
Abstract: Methods and systems for evaluating the biomechanical properties of a subject's spine for the purpose of optimizing a potential surgical intervention by selecting or designing surgical hardware fora spinal correction procedure. The system uses a simulated dynamic analysis configured to analyze, predict and improve the outcome of the surgical procedure by taking into account physiological, biomechanical, and anatomical factors. Machine learning algorithms use the computed distribution of forces and moments on the subject's spine, and compare the subject's results with those of patients from a reference population.

  • Patent number: 8732258
Abstract: A method for transporting telemetry data involves receiving a request from a client in a first network. The client is registered with a data transport service executing in a second network. The request includes an authentication credential for the client, a message including telemetry data, and a message priority. The method further involves authenticating the request using the authentication credential. The method further involves parsing the request to obtain and subsequently execute a command for storing the message in a physical queue of the second network. The physical queue is associated with a back-end service executing in the second network. A virtual queue maintains entries for messages stored in the physical queue that were sent from the first network to the second network. Another virtual queue maintains entries for messages stored in the physical queue that were sent from the second network to the first network.

  • Patent number: 7047345
Abstract: A system includes logic configured for counting transitions between data on a bus and data to be put onto the bus. Where the counted transitions exceed a threshold, the data to be put onto the bus is complemented. As a result, complemented data is put on the bus where the threshold was exceeded and un-complemented data is put on the bus where the threshold was not exceeded.

  • Publication number: 20060022965
Abstract: A light modulator includes a control unit configured to receive an image input signal, and an array having a plurality of pixels arranged in a plurality of rows. The control unit is configured to provide a first address associated with the image input signal to the array in response to detecting a first mode of operation, and the control unit is configured to provide a second address associated with the image input signal to the array in response to detecting a second mode of operation. The array is configured to drive a first one of the plurality of rows in response to receiving the first address, and the array is configured to drive the first one of the plurality of rows and a second one of the plurality of rows in response to receiving the second address.

  • Publication number: 20060022966
Abstract: A method and system for controlling a color of light output by a diffractive light device (DLD device). The color is determined by a gap voltage applied to the DLD device. During each of a number of time frames, one of a number of control bits in a control word is sent to bit line logic corresponding to the DLD device. Each of the control bits represents a gap voltage level. The applied gap voltage is then adjusted to the gap voltage level represented by the one of the number of the control bits.
