  • Patent number: 11663880
Abstract: A card game tabletop layout includes a curved tabletop with a dealer play area and at least one player area. The player area has an initial betting indicator, a bonus betting indicator, a draw betting indicator, and an odds and payout list. A card game method using the curved tabletop includes providing a playing card deck having 52 cards; distributing three cards to the dealer area and to the player area; determining whether to obtain an additional card to approach and not exceed a score of 27; exposing the dealer's cards and the player's cards; and determining whether the dealer's or the player's cards achieved a score closest to 27. The game method includes determining whether the three cards match a criterion listed on the odds and payout list. This simple card game is quickly understood by players who then feel comfortable playing without confusion.

  • Patent number: 4594901
Abstract: The mass flow rate of particles conveyed by a gaseous medium through a conduit is measured by an electrostatic flow meter comprising a grounded electrical conductor in contact with a semiconductive static charge-generating element exposed to the moving particles. As the particles pass the semi-conductive, static charge-generating element, they impart a static charge to the element which is transferred by the conductor to ground. The resulting current, which can be measured by any suitable current measuring means, is proportional to the mass flow rate of the particles.

  • Patent number: 4097944
Abstract: A beach mat is formed having an integral pillow and pockets for beach wear or the like. An elongated fabric piece defines the body of the mat, and at one end is folded back upon itself to enclose a pillow in the central portion. In particular, the body of the mat is stitched to the pillow, and the flaps on either side of the pillow are also stitched to the fabric piece and appropriately cut and bound to define pockets for beach wear and the like. The opposite end of the mat carries tie straps, to enclose the appropriately folded mat in a neat package.

  • Patent number: 4019509
Abstract: An impact resistant external casing is provided to enclose a canister containing a multi-layered chemical bed, with by-passes in each layer to accommodate the flow across and through the bed of exhaled breath which reacts with potassium superoxide in tablet form, the casing being provided with a (top) lid section which contains a mouthpiece, breathing hoses, and neck straps, the opposite side of the casing being provided with a bottom cover which accommodates the storage of a folded breathing bag and chest straps. An air passageway constituting an annular section is provided to accommodate a chimney extending from the bag through the passageway section between the casing and the canister, which is open to ambient air for cooling purposes. The inside bottom portion of the canister is provided with a trammel to prevent escape of deliquesced KO.sub.
