    Abstract: The invention concerns a method for continuously converting textile materials by passing same in a microwave field and contacting same with a surface capable of being heated. The inventive method consists, after depositing treating agents on said textile material, in: continuously passing the textile material and its deposited treating agents inside a chamber; applying inside the chamber a microwave radiation at atmospheric pressure; contacting inside the chamber the textile material with a surface capable of being heated; extracting the steam from inside the chamber throughout retention time of the textile material in the chamber.
