Abstract: A dressing strap for securing a dressing to a patient's skin comprises a pad of plastic topped gelatin-like hydrocolloid with an overlay flap which covers a surgical dressing and which supports a plurality of resilient plastic hooks that may be quickly laced with either string of elastic bands. The overlay flap is attached to the hydrocolloid plastic cover near its centerline, thus eliminating stress at the wound.

Abstract: A catheter holder system particularly useful for the stabilization of medical tubes and the like, particularly useful for association with ostomy receptacles. The catheter holder comprises a molded, conformable plastic member much in the configuration of a funnel or the like having a planar, annular or base portion wherein the member is of semi-rigid, upstanding construction whereby the extreme terminus of the funnel portion terminates in a tip portion which is easily separable in order to accommodate and receive various size medical tubing therethrough in order to maintain the tubing in a secure and stable position relative to the patient with which the tubing is utilized. In most instances the tubing will comprise a catheter which may be passed through the funnel portion of the member and snugly retained by friction fit therein.

Abstract: An ostomy receptacle or pouch having a convex member insert which is disposed between the flexible pouch or receptacle and the conformable pad or cushion member about the stoma opening so as to obtain relatively snug and close disposition of the ostomy receptacle in relation to the stoma.
