  • Patent number: 6740135
Abstract: A fire log system for providing an efficient corn based fuel that is burnable within conventional fireplaces. The fire log system includes a housing having a front opening, a volume of particulate corn within the interior of the housing, a plurality of corn cobs within the front opening of the housing for retaining the particulate corn, and a plurality of retaining members secured about the front opening. The housing with the corn cobs and particulate corn is preferably dipped within a wax material after formed. A wick member preferably is positioned within the front opening for assisting in the lighting of the fire log system.

  • Patent number: 6142135
Abstract: An air powered gun system for allowing a user to fire large projectiles at extremely high velocities by utilizing a conventional air pump. The inventive device includes a stock, a barrel attached to the stock, an air valve connected to the rear end of the barrel, an air chamber connected to the air valve opposite of the barrel, a conventional valve stem attached to the air chamber a trigger lever connected to the air valve, a spring connected to the trigger lever, and a loading shaft for loading a standard projectile or a lighted projectile. A pressure gauge may also be attached to the air chamber to show the pressure within the air chamber. The user inserts the standard projectile or the lighted projectile into the rear portion of the barrel by utilizing the loading shaft. A conventional air pump is removably connectable with the valve stem of the air chamber for inputting pressurized air into the air chamber.

  • Patent number: 6024870
Abstract: A sewage filtration system for efficiently filtering sewage waste material from smaller residential areas without the use of expensive sewage treatment plants. The inventive device includes a conventional septic tank connected to each building structure's sewage system, a pair of fluidly connected two compartment tanks connected to the conventional septic tanks, and a final phase filtering tank fluidly connected to the pair of two compartment tanks. The final phase filtering tank comprises a tank, a cover, an inlet tube, an outlet tube, a first tube connected to the outlet tube, a second tube fluidly connected to the first tube wherein the second tube is water permeable, at least one sand or gravel layer above the second tube, a layered filter structure above the sand or gravel layer that receives the filtered liquid from the inlet tube.

  • Patent number: 5931118
Abstract: A self-filling birdbath system for utilizing rainwater collected within a conventional rain gutter system to fill and clean a birdbath. The inventive device includes a birdbath, a collection tube connectable to a drain spout of a rain gutter, an elbow tube coupled with the collection tube, a transporting tube coupled to the elbow tube opposite of the collection tube, and a fill tube coupled to the transporting tube and extending through the birdbath above the rim of the basin. Rainwater is accumulated within the rain gutter and is drained through the drain spout. The rainwater is then forced through the transporting tube through the fill tube and out a dispensing end where the water dispensed into the basin. The rainwater is agitated within the basin of the birdbath thereby cleaning the basin when the water level within the basin exceeds the rim of the basin.
