  • Patent number: 4080400
Abstract: Alkali metal terminated organic polymers are reacted with silicon containing compounds having aliphatic unsaturation to produce a new class of reactive silylated organic polymers. These silylated organic polymers can in turn be reacted with cyclic siloxanes to produce silylated organic-organopolysiloxane block copolymers which are useful as protective coatings, surfactants and as elastomers.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 31, 1975
Date of Patent: March 21, 1978
    Assignee: SWS Silicones Corporation
    Inventor: Eugene Ray Martin
  • Patent number: 4078104
Abstract: A release composition for bituminous materials comprising a mixture of an organopolysiloxane and an aminofunctional silicon fluid.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 28, 1975
Date of Patent: March 7, 1978
    Assignee: SWS Silicones Corporation
    Inventor: Eugene Ray Martin
  • Patent number: 4046795
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing thiofunctional polysiloxane polymers which comprises reacting a disiloxane and/or a hydroxy or hydrocarbonoxy containing silane or siloxane with a cyclic trisiloxane in the presence of an acid catalyst wherein at least one of the above organosilicon compounds contain a thiol group. These thiofunctional polysiloxane polymers are useful as metal protectants and as release agents, especially on metal substrates.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 10, 1975
Date of Patent: September 6, 1977
    Assignee: SWS Silicones Corporation
    Inventor: Eugene Ray Martin
  • Patent number: 3960575
Abstract: Improved detergent resistant polish compositions can be prepared by adding novel aminofunctional silicon fluids obtained from an equilibration process to conventional polish compositions. Polishes having improved rub-out and gloss may be obtained by adding the aminofunctional silicon fluid and hydroxyl-terminated organopolysiloxanes and/or silicone resins to the polish compositions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 11, 1974
Date of Patent: June 1, 1976
    Assignee: SWS Silicones Corporation
    Inventor: Eugene Ray Martin
