Patent number: 12632802Abstract: A method of resource management for transferring resources from providers to consumers is described. The method comprises the following steps. Supply parameters for the providers and demand parameters for the consumers are established, and constraints on the allocation of the resources are also established, as is an optimisation function for determining matches between providers and consumers. The optimisation function is solved for the established constraints using a constraint-based problem solver to determine matches between providers and consumers. Resources are then transferred from providers to consumers according to the determined matches. A computing system adapted to perform this method is also described, along with a power distribution system including such a computing system.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2020Date of Patent: May 19, 2026Assignee: EATON INTELLIGENT POWER LIMITEDInventors: Sourav Dutta, Andrei Marinescu, Leonard Feehan, Manoj Gokhale, Eugene Ryan

Publication number: 20250252302Abstract: Some embodiments relate to a method and system of optimizing sensor data collection for centralized training of machine learning models. The method comprises identifying a data prioritization technique; collecting sensor data and implementing the identified data prioritization technique to prioritize the data for storage and transmission to a centralized repository; transmitting the data to the centralized repository; training the machine learning model on the centralized repository using the transmitted data to predict or identify events, such as failure in vehicles and other machinery; evaluating the data prioritization technique using a forward pass of an autoencoder to create an output; and determining an adjustment to the data prioritization technique based on the output.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 14, 2022Publication date: August 7, 2025Inventors: Padhraig RYAN, Eugene RYAN, James RYLE

Patent number: 12218795Abstract: The Internet can be configured to provide communications to a large number of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices. Devices can be designed to address the need for network layers, from central servers, through gateways, down to edge devices, to grow unhindered, to discover and make accessible connected resources, and to support the ability to hide and compartmentalize connected resources. Network protocols can be part of the fabric supporting human accessible services that operate regardless of location, time, or space. Innovations can include service delivery and associated infrastructure, such as hardware and software. Services may be provided in accordance with specified Quality of Service (QoS) terms. The use of IoT devices and networks can be included in a heterogeneous network of connectivity including wired and wireless technologies.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2022Date of Patent: February 4, 2025Assignee: INTEL CORPORATIONInventors: Ned M.
