Abstract: The present invention provides for a personal screen device that is adapted to be secured to the back surface of a conventional seat. This personal screen comprises of a shaft includes an upper portion and a lower portion. A shade is secured to the upper portion while the lower portion is adapted to be received within a first holding mechanism and a retaining mechanism. The holding mechanism and the retaining mechanism are secured on the back surface of the conventional seat. The screen of the present invention is designed to be adjustable so that the shade can be raised, lowered, rotated and/or tilted in order to provide an optimum means for blocking sun rays, rain, or the like.
