  • Patent number: 11525302
Abstract: A protective screen system and method of installation for preventing bugs and insects from passing through a door or window opening, as well as preventing pets, such as dogs and cats from causing damage to a protective screen. The system and method include removing an existing screen from a door or window frame and inserting a protective screen member through a front face of the frame. The protective screen member is a rigid, transparent panel having a plurality of spaced apertures forming a grid pattern. The protective screen member is positioned through an opening of the frame and within a groove thereof such that an entire outer perimeter of the protective screen member is seated within the door or window frame. The protective screen member is secured to the frame via application of a fastener such as an adhesive or tape.

  • Publication number: 20200095826
Abstract: A screen system includes a screen system having a screen assembly including a screen member with a plurality of equidistantly spaced apertures. The screen member may be mountable to a bottom portion of a door or a window for allowing airflow to pass through the apertures while inhibiting a passage of bugs and insects. The screen member has a sufficient rigidity for preventing damage from at least one pet attempting to pass through the screen member.

  • Patent number: 9863209
Abstract: An isolation tool is presented for use in fluidly isolating first and second sections of tubing and more typically to a bleed valve/port of a gas lift mandrel. The isolation tool is configured for disposition within an interior of a gas lift mandrel. The isolation tool includes one or more resilient elements that may be compressed to expand to and seal against an inside surface of the tubing/mandrel. Such expansion and sealing by the resilient element(s) fluidly isolates sections of the tubing/mandrel. The isolation tool may be removed through the tubing when desired by releasing the compression of the resilient element(s) such that the resilient element(s) disengage the inside surface of the tubing/mandrel.

  • Patent number: 9169721
Abstract: Expansion tools used to centralize a casing-casing annulus in a wellbore. Providing an elongate body having a first force multiplier case coupled to an expansion tool case. A piston may be arranged within the first force multiplier case and configured to translate axially therein. A ram may be arranged within the expansion tool case, the ram being coupled to the piston and configured to translate axially within the expansion tool case in response to a force applied by the piston. One or more lug assemblies are arranged within the expansion tool case and configured to radially expand once engaged by the ram as the ram translates axially.

  • Patent number: 9109437
Abstract: A method for centralizing an inner casing within an outer casing includes introducing an expansion tool into the inner casing, the expansion tool having an elongate body having a first force multiplier case coupled to an expansion tool case. A piston is arranged within the first force multiplier case and is actuated to move the piston axially in a first direction. A ram is arranged within the expansion tool case and engaged with the piston while moving in the first direction. One or more lug assemblies are arranged within the expansion tool case and are radially expanded with the ram as the ram axially translates in the first direction. The inner casing is plastically deformed with the one or more lug assemblies, which generate a corresponding one or more lugs in the inner casing configured to engage an inner surface of the outer casing.

The piston engages a ram arranged within the expansion tool, and causes the radial expansion of one or more lug assemblies arranged within the expansion tool case. The inner casing is then plastically deformed with the one or more lug assemblies as they expand radially.

  • Publication number: 20030029465
Abstract: An Artificial Cigar Device designed and configured to have the appearance and feel of an actual cigar, but actually is artificial, contains no chemicals, and acts as a pacifier for individuals wishing to quit smoking. The Artificial Cigar Device is structured and configured to depict an actual cigar and is fabricated from a soft, chewable, washable and durable material such as medical grade liquid silicone rubber comprised of an approximate range of forty-sixty durometer with a pleasant scent. Said scent ingredients such as vanilla or the like of said non-toxic semi-rigid polymeric material for the artificial cigar shaft member are also absorbed into said absorbent material. The Artificial Cigar Device is also comprised of a cylindrical band affixed around the front end of said shaft member thereby simulating the appearance of an actual cigar wrap. In addition, each Artificial Cigar Device will be packaged in it's own reusable container for storage.
