    Abstract: Processes for producing the multi-layered optical recording medium shown in FIG. 2 using the embossing master (20) shown in FIG. 3, where an etched metal thin layer (22) has been electroplated with a thick metal layer and the luminescent recording layer (25) cast thereover forming pits (24) between adjacent metallized areas. The luminescent layer may then be cured using UV light (26).
