Publication number: 20240252969Abstract: Present embodiments relate to an air filter assembly. More specifically, but without limitation, present embodiments relate to an air filter assembly with integrated hydrocarbon trap media disposed within the footprint or envelope, or internally of, the air filter. The air filter assembly positions a hydrocarbon trap media closely to an intake manifold, or conduit leading thereto, in order to capture any fuel vapor emission which may move opposite the normal flow direction. The hydrocarbon trap media is placed close to the engine and aligned with the airflow moving to the engine so that the vapor exiting the engine engages the hydrocarbon trap media when the engine is off, and airflow passes through the filter and along the hydrocarbon trap media when the engine is running.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2024Publication date: August 1, 2024Inventors: Ethan Christopher Townsend, Ryan Patrick Ringel, Nicholas Eugene Wolf

Publication number: 20230152480Abstract: System and methods of random noise attenuation are provided. A first model may be trained to extract random noise from seismic datasets. A second model may be trained to reconstruct leaked signals from the random noise extracted by the first model. A seismic dataset corresponding to a subsurface reservoir formation and including random noise may be obtained. Using the trained first model, at least a portion of the random noise may be extracted from the first seismic dataset. Using the trained second model, a leaked signal, which includes a portion of the seismic dataset, may be reconstructed from the extracted random noise. A cleaned seismic dataset is generated based on the reconstructed leaked signal and the extracted random noise. The cleaned seismic dataset may include a quantity of random noise that is less than that of the original seismic dataset.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 16, 2021Publication date: May 18, 2023Inventors: Satyan Singh, Philip Norlund, Adrian Sanchez Rodriguez, Eugene Wolfe, Steven Angelovich

Publication number: 20200182275Abstract: A device for sealing a transmission is presented. The device has a base with an upper surface and a lower surface. The device further has a protruding portion. The protruding portion has an inner surface and an outer surface. The protruding portion has a predetermined length. The protruding portion is attached to the base of the device. A locking mechanism is also presented to lock the protruding portion to the base. The locking mechanism is made of a plurality of locking members. Each of the locking member is positions apart from the protruding portion and is located around a periphery of the base of the device.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 6, 2018Publication date: June 11, 2020Inventors: Thomas Eugene Wolfe, Jesse James Dunkleberger

Patent number: 9023082Abstract: Methods and devices for fixation of soft tissue to bone are provided. In one embodiment, a suture anchor is provided having an elongate cylindrical body with proximal and distal ends and an inner lumen extending therethrough. The elongate body can be configured so that upon partial insertion into a bone hole, it is securely anchored within the bone hole and a suture extending through the inner lumen is freely slidable. It can also configured so that, upon further insertion into the bone hole, at least a portion of the elongate body compresses to lock the suture within the inner lumen such that the suture is prevented from sliding. In another embodiment, a suture anchor is provided having arms that have an open position for receiving a suture therebetween, and a closed position in which the suture is retained but allowed to slide freely.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2011Date of Patent: May 5, 2015Assignee: DePuy Mitek, LLCInventor: Eugene Wolf

Publication number: 20080058819Abstract: A bioabsorbable interference screw which, upon insertion, the screw engages cortical bone at the back end of the bone tunnel and fills all but 5-10 mm. of the tunnel, thereby providing increased fixation strength while also promoting fast healing. The screw includes a head provided with a specially designed drive socket with radially extending slots at its outer end for receiving corresponding protrusions on the shaft of screwdriver. The drive socket optimizes the torque capacity of the screw.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 1, 2007Publication date: March 6, 2008Inventor: Eugene Wolf

Publication number: 20050171546Abstract: A bioabsorbable interference screw having a tapered profile which extends along substantially the entire length of the screw. The tapered profile makes the screw easy to insert while providing superior fixation resulting from a progressively increasing diameter. Upon insertion, the screw engages cortical bone at the back end of the bone tunnel and fills all but 5-10 mm. of the tunnel, thereby providing increased fixation strength while also promoting fast healing. The screw includes a head provided with a specially designed drive socket with radially extending slots at its outer end for receiving corresponding protrusions on the shaft of screwdriver. The drive socket optimizes the torque capacity of the screw. To maintain wall thickness, the socket has a taper corresponding to the tapered outer profile of the screw. The taper of the socket also permits easy insertion of the tip and shaft of the driver into the screw.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 4, 2005Publication date: August 4, 2005Inventor: Eugene Wolf
