Abstract: An elevator automatic rescue and energy-saving control method, the method comprising: when the power grid supplies power normally, selecting a single current in a three-phase power grid (9) as an AC power supply for an elevator control system (10); controlling a DC-DC converter (2) to charge the super capacitor module (1) connected to the DC-DC converter to a specified standby electric energy level; and when the power grid is suddenly interrupted, selecting to use the electric energy stored in the super capacitor module (1) as a rescue electric energy for a traction motor (7) and the elevator control system (10). The described method uses a super capacitor module, so that a stable and reliable elevator rescue power supply is provided when the power grid is suddenly interrupted, and the regenerative electric energy dissipated during elevator braking operation is stored and utilized during elevator operation, thereby conserving energy.

Abstract: Source radio frequency energy (RF) is coupled wirelessly (no physical contact) between two compound loop (CPL) antennas or one CPL and another type of antenna across a variety of barriers such as plastic, human tissues, glass, and air. The compound coupling interface created between the two antennas is highly efficient in transferring the RF energy from a source antenna to a destination including a CPL antenna. A re-radiating structure including a further CPL antenna or a different type of antenna may be connected on the destination side to completely physically isolate the source side from the destination side. When the destination coupling antenna is removed, the source coupling antenna may operate as an efficient radiator at the desired operating frequencies. Likewise, the destination coupling antenna may operate as an efficient radiator in the absence of the source coupling antenna.

The method comprises providing at least one option for a first input request and announcing the first input request and at least one option of the first input request. A first motion gesture is detected, and the device determines whether the first motion gesture corresponds to a positive selection or a negative selection, wherein a control module of the device determines whether the first motion gesture meets a threshold for a positive gesture selection or a negative gesture selection. The device advances to a second option and announces the second option upon the determination of a negative selection as the first motion gesture. The selected option for the first input request is stored in a memory of the device after a positive selection.

Abstract: A hierarchical based advertising system including a primary server, at least one secondary server and at least one terminal is provided. The primary server has advertisement data. The secondary server is coupled with the primary server while the terminal is coupled with the secondary server. The primary server, the secondary server and the terminal are arranged in a hierarchical structure. The primary server transmits the advertisement data to the secondary server to update advertisements displayed on the terminal. A broadcasting method of the hierarchical based advertising system is also provided.

Abstract: A process for purifying 1,3-propanediol from the fermentation broth of a cultured E. coli that has been bioengineered to synthesize 1,3-propanediol from sugar is provided. The basic process entails filtration, ion exchange and distillation of the fermentation broth product stream, preferably including chemical reduction of the product during the distillation procedure. Also provided are highly purified compositions of 1,3-propanediol.
